During his academic journey he has developed several projects, as Director of Photography and Image Assistant in short films, besides completing his specialized training (internship) in graphic arts and printing for artistic photography at Lumen - Imaging & Design Studio.
Although specialized in static imagery, José also has professional musical training and interest in general audiovisual art conception, and some experiences through other artistic mediums rather than photography. José explores, essentially, for his photographic projects, the analog photographic medium - namely the medium format.
His knowledge and long-time experience in filmmaking and light design took him to new paths of media arts, developing collaborations and directions with diverse artists and entities in the spectrum of music videos, live performances, videoart, streams, installations, and many other forms of expression.
